Be helpful! This was something that Molly did so well. She saw a need and filled it, often before it was even recognized by others. Molly had an amazingly caring spirit and put others’ needs before her own, daily. Molly did hard things and helpful things, and she did them with a big and beautiful smile! She was thoughtful, kind and helpful….always.
We continue to hear incredibly touching stories about how Molly was thoughtful and helpful to others, in big and small ways. Just this week, we heard from the maintenance worker at Molly’s apartment complex in California. He came to check on her because he hadn’t seen her recently. He was so deeply moved to hear of her passing that emotions overcame him. He told how Molly was always so kind to him, even remembering him and his wife at Christmas. He also shared that Molly was helping him learn English while he was helping her brush up on her Spanish. Another life touched by Molly’s helpful, kind, and caring spirit. What a legacy!
Simple and thoughtful acts of kindness carry forward a ripple effect that is much needed in our world. Many of you have reached out to say “keep the challenges coming”. So here is another for this week……..see a need and fill it – big or small. Make a conscious effort to help another to make their life happier or easier. Bring light to others by being helpful. We must seek to find ways that will enrich the lives of those around us, in these ways, we will “live and love like Molly”.
