GRATITUDE.

To know Molly is to know her sense of gratitude. She was always thankful for things….big and small! She shared her appreciation in so many ways. She modeled gratitude by talking with others, writing thank you cards, personal journaling, special notes to others, and much more. A special surprise found in Molly’s things is a “Gratitude Box” – you can see from the photos examples of the things (big and small) she was thankful for.

Your challenge this month is to build an “attitude of gratitude”. Please share your gratitude with others – either on this post or in person.

It has been found that over time, feeling grateful boosts happiness and fosters both physical and mental health.

Here are some ways to build your “gratitude muscle”:
    • Tell others when and why you are thankful -express appreciation often.
    • Make a gratitude jar – add slips of paper and watch the appreciation grow.
    • Keep a journal or in some way note the big and little joys of daily life. Write down “three good things” each day.
    • Write thank-you notes.

What is your gratitude commitment?

Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
